A “Last Chance” postcard should be sent out about eight weeks before the class reunion. This card or evite should serve as a final reminder to register for the class reunion.
Here are some sample last chance postcards that we created on Postcards.com in about five minutes. They are easy to create and order so get started.
When creating the postcard, keep the wording short and use a large, easy to read font. Make the design fun and exciting by using bright colors.
As in all your communications pieces, don’t try to cram all the information onto one single postcard. Just add your class reunion website URL onto the back of the card for more information.
Finally, if you have a hotel room block for out of town classmates, then add the hotel name, telephone number to make reservations, and the group code. Encourage people to make hotel reservations quickly or they may have to stay at a hotel that is not the same as the rest of the classmates. If your class reunion did not block hotel rooms, then we would encourage you to do so. There are significant advantages to having your guests staying at one hotel.
Sending out a last chance invitation to classmates is a great way to convert the “on the fence” types into action. You’ll be surprised at the number of people that register after receiving this card in the mail.
