How did we narrow the list to the class reunion website builders above?
Knowing that it was not practical to review dozens of website builders, we started by removing companies that did not focus on reunions. While website builders like Weebly.com and Blogger.com are great for creating business websites or personal blogs, they do not offer the specialized functionality that a dedicated class reunion website builder does.
For example, as a class reunion, you want to be able to upload a list of classmates onto a website and let it track missing classmates for you. This feature is part of the package on a website like classcreator.com but won’t be found on generic website builders.
Once we narrowed the choices to class reunion specific website builders, we further refined our search by using the following criteria:
- The look and feel of the reunion website builder website
- Ease of use and functionality
- Sample class reunion websites that were built using their site
- Number of great looking class reunion website templates offered
After much consideration, we narrowed the choices down to three companies. Building a website can cost anywhere from free to $16/month, depending on your needs. The three companies we reviewed are:
- MyEvent.com
- ClassCreator.com
- ClassQuest.com
Each of these companies has its own strengths and weaknesses and we have provided detailed reviews of each website builder below.
MyEvent.com Review
MyEvent.com is the granddaddy of class reunion websites.
This company focuses on all kinds of reunions, including class reunions and offers a ton of functionality specific to the topic.
Using MyEvent.com is easy and anyone can use it to create a professional looking class reunion website with no knowledge of HTML coding or programming.
They have great looking templates that have been used to create some of the best looking class reunion websites around.
It is easy to set up a great looking home page, registration forms, surveys, and missing classmates list.
You can also take payments online, send mass emails to classmates, uploads videos of the class reunion (post reunion), accept donations and tons more. They offer a free basic package where you can host a 1-2 page website, and sell tickets. For about $15/month, they offer the ability to create a beautiful website quickly and without knowing any code 🙂

What’s different about them
They offer a “Site on CD” that you can purchase separately once the class reunion is over. This CD contains all the content from the class reunion website so you can cherish the memories for years to come.
From a social networking perspective, they offer an easy way to connect to Facebook where all your updates are posted automatically, saving a ton of time.
Other unique features are a budget tool, an online auction (you can auction off reunion items to raise funds), and a free 7 day trial with no credit card required. There is no risk and nothing to lose.

Now let’s move onto the next class reunion website builder.
ClassCreator.com
Classcreator.com is another great website builder that lets you build and control your own reunion website without any technical knowledge at all. In fact, one of the things we like best is that their only focus is class reunions. It’s all they do.
Creating forms, sending surveys, adding classmates, and accepting payments is easy and intuitive.
They offer a forum whereby one can request new functions, or get advice from other class reunion planners on building a class reunion website. Add tremendous customer service and you have the formula for a great company and product.
Keeping track of who has registered, who is coming, and whose is still missing is very easy. Once you have uploaded the class name list, the website takes over from there.
As classmates fill out their profiles, they are automatically removed from the missing classmates list. Once they register and pay for the class reunion, they are placed in the “Who is coming” section. The automation saves a lot of time.
What different about them?
Their class reunion themes and templates are really nice and easy to set up. You can choose a theme based on the decade you graduated in and then further customize it to match your school colors. The themes start with the 1950’s and continue onwards from there.
They also offer a lot of helpful “How to” Videos that make it a cinch to create your own class reunion website. They have videos on how to add a third party widget, how to embed a video, and how to change the theme of the class reunion website.
Pricing
You can use the free website builder (it’s the same as the premium except the free version has ads). The platinum subscription provides cool features like
- live chat,
- instant messaging,
- extra storage (for photos etc.),
- and personalized email addresses (ex Nancy@southhighschool1987reunion.com).

The last company we review in our list of class reunion website builders is ClassQuest.com
ClassQuest.com Review
If you are looking for a free option that does not provide some of the frills that the two companies above do, then ClassQuest.com is your best bet.
For a great price (free) you can create a decent looking website that will suffice most planners and classmates.
Free Option
Surprisingly, the free website option by ClassQuest.com allows custom pages that you can post event details on. Creating surveys, and registration forms is simple and not very time consuming.
Classmates can register, create and maintain their own profiles online. Once someone registers, their profile is removed from the missing classmates automatically.
One of the biggest drawbacks that we saw was the lack of well designed templates. While they do offer many options, they are not very flexible or customizable as the other two companies reviewed above.
Premium Option
ClassQuest.com does offer a free option as well. For $90/ year, you can chat, and upload music to the website. You can also accept other forms of payment than the standard credit card processing that they offer.
In addition, paying customers also get a free upload of classmate profiles and data so you don’t have to do it manually one at a time. This is a real time saver as the free option requires you to enter each one manually.
ClassQuest.com is a surprisingly good choice (Free and premium version) and receives a solid ‘B’ in our opinion. Their biggest drawback is the designs and the fact that it is not as easy to use as the other two website builders that we reviewed.

The three class reunion website builders reviewed offer some great options and we would recommend any of them to our fellow planners. MyEvent.com and ClassCreator.com are easy to use and provide lots of bells and whistles. ClassQuest.com offers a basic but functional website whose price can’t be beat.
