If you want to have a destination wedding in Dominica then you’ll need a Dominica marriage license.
A special marriage license can be obtained from Ministry of Social Services, Community Development and Gender Affairs in Roseau.
The application form “G” must be filled out and signed by the bride and groom in front of a witness.
The declaration form must also be signed by the bride and groom before a Commissioner of Oath. Stamps need to be attached to the form.
Before the application, either the bride or groom needs to be in Dominica for at least 2 days. The documents the couple needs are their passports, their birth certificates and a non-marriage certificate to show neither party has ever been married.
If either the bride or groom has been divorced or widowed, a decree of divorce or death certificate needs to be provided. Once the license fee is paid and the application has been processed, you should be able to receive your Dominica marriage license!
