Wedding packages, especially the free kind, are extremely popular when it comes to destination weddings.

Below, we have listed several resort companies that have locations throughout the Caribbean islands and offer some spectacular wedding packages that are free so long as you stay a certain number of nights.

Sandals
Sandals was the pioneer in all inclusive couples only resorts and continues to lead the pack in service, quality, and price. Plus, they have some of the best locations anywhere.
Where are the resorts: Jamaica, St. Lucia, Bahamas, and Antigua. They offer three levels of suites at the resorts. The basic all-inclusive suites, the crystal suites with a private pool and the millionaire suites (separate villas with butler service).
Amenities that we love: Tons of all inclusive restaurants (up to 15 per property), top shelf drinks, butler service, and absolutely gorgeous locations.
Things to do: Beach bonfire parties, live shows, scuba diving (lessons are available), golf, or just hang out in the largest Jacuzzis in the Caribbean. Of course, if you are getting bored, you can just join the dozens of water activities available (scuba, snorkeling, aquatrikes, windsurfing, paddle boarding, and surfing).
Wedding Packages:
Sandals offer six (6) different wedding themes that range from free to $2900. Of course, you can customize these with lots of extras to make the wedding truly yours.
- Beautiful Beginnings – A free ceremony accented with magenta orchids (minimum stay is 6 nights).
- Vision in White – A sweet celebration with delicate lace details.
- Seaside Serenade – The romantic spirit of the ocean tide in aqua and shells.
- The Flutter of Romance – A charming and whimsical butterfly motif.
- Island Paradise – Exotic orchids in the vibrant colors of the Caribbean.
- Chic & Natural – Melding organic elements with modern style.
Things you can add to your wedding include releasing doves, eco friendly confetti, a flutist, a harpist, and even a violinist.
For groups: Wedding Parties of 10 rooms or more receive a complimentary upgrade for the bride and groom, a rehearsal dinner, a 30 minute reception, a free room for every twelve (12) paid rooms, a manicure and pedicure (for the bride) and a 35 minute massage for the groom.
Beaches
Beaches is simply the family friendly version of the Sandals brand. Owned by the same company, they offer much of the same kinds of all inclusive amenities and wedding packages with locations in Turks And Caicos and Jamaica. If you are expecting family members to attend along with kids, then Beaches resorts will provide the perfect backdrop for your wedding.
Not only are the ceremony and receptions done the same way as the Sandals resort, but they have a ton of activities geared towards kids and adults alike. And if after the wedding, you need to get away, you can always honeymoon at a sandals nearby 🙂
Activities: Theme Parks, kids programs, scuba Diving, motorized water sports, and golf.
Entertainment: Live Shows, steel drum bands, fire eaters, island performers, weekly bonfire parties, and costume parties.

Beaches offers the same wedding packages as the Sandals resorts mentioned above. And just like sandals, they offer a free wedding as well so long as you stay six nights of more.

Dreams Resorts
Known for their gorgeous beachfront locations, these resorts will serve the perfect hosts for any kind of wedding from small intimate ceremonies to large family affairs. In addition to family friendly entertainment, they also offer an adult only lounge if you seek some solitude.
What’s to love: Theme parties, oceanfront bars, watching movies on the beach on a big screen and rooms with private terraces and twice daily maid service.
What’s to do: Kayaks, hobie cats, snorkeling, beach volleyball, Spanish lessons, Caribbean dance lessons, bingo, Golf (some locations), live shows, windsurfing, jet skis, and a host of other water activities.
Entertainment: Movies at the beach (Large screen of course), live performances, and themed parties to keep everyone at your wedding busy from morning to night.
Wedding Packages:
Dreams offers three types of destination wedding packages ranging from free to $3000. They are:
- Wedding in paradise – Includes an onsite coordinator, complimentary room for bride and groom, Officiant, Bride’s bouquet, Groom’s boutonniere, wedding cake, and romantic toast.
- Love wedding – Includes everything in the wedding in paradise package along with a personal dressing assistant, extra boutonnieres, hair style and makeup for bride, cocktail hour, and dinner reception. Also includes a photo package.
- Ultimate wedding – Includes everything in the love wedding package along with a Swedish massage for two, videography, and better choice of dinner reception and cocktail hour.
Wedding extras include higher end menus, multi-layered cake, music, photo package, flowers, ceremony (Gazebo wedding, pool side reception dinner) and decorations
Secrets Resorts
Secrets is owned by the same company that owns Dreams resorts. Their wedding packages are the same as well. Secrets offers resorts on six islands including Cancun, Punta Cana, Montego Bay, Puerto Vallarta and Los Cabos and each one has multiple restaurants and bars, along with all kinds of water activities.
Their complimentary wedding package includes:

This package is complimentary based on booking a Junior Suite or better for seven (7) nights or if a minimum of five (5) rooms are booked for three nights each by your wedding guests. For most destination weddings, this is not a terribly difficult hurdle.
Couples Swept Away
Couples resorts are famous for their incredible staff. From creating some of the most beautiful bouquets, to top in class service, the resort’s main goal is to help you create a wedding that is stress free. They cater to a wide variety of budgets and offer tons of options to personalize every package.
Things to do: Scuba Diving, Unlimited golf, Tours, catamaran Cruise, Snorkeling, Tennis courts, waterskiing, Hobie cat, and windsurfing. All the above mentioned activities are included in the nightly rate.
